10X Challenge

10th Feb 2025

Last week, we were very excited to launch 10X Challenge to Years 7 and 8 in their assembly.

10X Challenge is an entrepreneurial challenge. The 10X Challenge is free to take part in, and students from all year groups can choose to get involved. The 10X Challenge runs during March. Students work in teams of one to eight students. Each team receives an initial £10 investment in their business. If a team makes a profit during the four weeks of the 10X Challenge, they repay the £10 plus an additional £1 legacy contribution (£11 in total); all teams are required to repay at least £8. There are national competitions to take part in, for instance for the best logo. More information can be found on the 10X Challenge’s website.

Students who wish to take part need to complete an application form (to demonstrate that they have a business idea which fits the rules of the 10X Challenge) and return it, together with a parental permission slip, to Dr Hicks or Miss Waggs by Monday 24th February. The application form can be found here.
