Every school day begins with twenty minutes of tutor time activities. These include training in skills such as touch-typing, a reading programme through which students are exposed to a diverse range of engaging novels, structured reflections on news and current affairs, and coverage of statutory religious education. Parents and carers are entitled to withdraw their children from all or part of the religious education programme and can do so by emailing Dr Hicks.
